Yami Hikaru grew up in this modest gameshop in Domino with his younger brother Yuugi and his grandpa Sugoroku. That's him with the broom.

Yami attended Domino High School, then went on to attend the presigious Mt Fuji School of Performing Arts, where he graduated top of his class in modern dance! On a dare from a friend, he entered the Mr. Japan All Talent contest. While his hair and exotic eyes caught the judges' attention, his singing voice and amazing stage presence blew them away! He was offered a contract almost the moment he stepped of the stage. A year later saw the release of his first album, 'Dare to Fly'. It hit the top of the national charts in a mere two weeks, and was certified gold in less than a month. It's now found international acclaim as well. His second album, Dragon's Dance, is set to hit the stores August 27th.
