Life to me is a one way road. Two decisions, one dead end, one ongoing path. I find myself stopping to look at the changes around me, just like the leaves in the fall. The one way road is an ongoing path of emotions and events. Weither I am happy, sad, depressed, excited, tired or mad, the road continues. I can't see too far down it, like into the future. But there are little pick me ups along the way. With the pick me ups comes speed bumps. Life is a one way road. With speed bumps like deaths or losing a friend. Slow down signs like school and friends. But there are the green lights, that tell you, you can move on now.
They say if you drop a coin in a wishing fountin your wish will come true. Well back on a summer day in 2008 my grandparents, my cousin Tegan and I went to Story book gardens. Right in the entrance there was a wishing well. I pulled out a quarter. Closed my eyes and made a wish. I flipped the quarter into the well and smiled as it hit the water with a light plink. I know it may just be a legend that your wish came true, or just stright up luck. But mine did come true. I found someone who can help me through anything, no matter what it is and listens to me. My best friend.
Best friends are there for you through anything and everything. My best friends do more. We have the kind of friendship where we can have a fight over nothing, then laugh about it. We can make fun of eachother, and like eachother better. We can be dorks in public.
