Taxes are expenses that the government forces us to pay in order to live here in America and i our couties like here in fairfield.
People get taxed by the government for living here and for owning houses and for owning cars and there are taxes on your income.
taxes go to the national government who distribute it to states who distribute it to counties who use it to improve schools and give out loans etc
People take a percentage of there paycheck out to pay taxes
Taxes pump money into the government so that they can pay back other countries who we can get out of debt and so that they can give money to banks so that they dont fail.
Not all people pay taxes, some people collect welfare or unemployment from the government.
If someone who is supposed to pay taxes does not file a tax return this is considered tax evasion and the IRS can put you in jail!
People are concerned that taxes are way to high now for people who make more than 250000 dollars. those people have to pay 40% of their paycheck in taxes!
Obama will stop giving tax breaks to corporations who get many workers from overseas
