Began a school wide St Patrick's Day Sing-a-long with a study of Ireland
International Board Games!
One of the developing themes of my research was better meeting the needs of ELL students. This fit together perfectly with Hmong New Year and Ge's presentation. I have begun providing written lyrics, talking to them one on one to avoid embarassment, and have had students begin to ask questions after class.
Organized a performance of a children's choir from Africa, and hosted for the day at our school
Used Google Earth for students to research countries we were learning about

Read additional books and attended speeches on the Rwandan Holicaust
Democracy, Diversity and Social Justice
Will be Attending Act 31 performance, incorporated Native American Unit to Thanksgiving Day songs.
Adapted lessons to include variety of learning styles and personality types.
