Ronald Reagan: All American

Childhood:

Ronald Wilson Reagan (right) was born February 6, 1911 in Tampico, Illinois, however his family moved to lots of different country towns in Illinois. This was good because he and his brother Neil ( left ) liked the country. Reagan's Family settled on Dixon, Illinois when he was about nine.

In his teens Reagan liked to ice scate in the winter with his brother. In the summer Reagan would play football with his closest friends. Reagan also worked as a lifegaurd in the summer.

Ronald Reagan took a screen test at a motion picture studio and moved to California. He became a motion picture actor and went on to star in at least 50 movies and played tons of different roles.

Ronald Reagan had a job sportscasting in Des Moines, Iowa. He had other sportscasting jobs too, however the one in Des Moines was the biggest.

Ronald Reagan tried to be nominated for the Republican party to run for President of the US .He did not succeed. He tried again four years later this time he got it. He became the 40th Presidemt of the United States.
