Already and yet We use them often for the Present Perfect. *We use yet in negative sentences and at the end of questions: Has he phoned yet? He has not phoned yet. *We usa already before the verb past participle when something happened sooner than we expected: Its 8 oclock and the have already arrived at school.
Been and Gone *A number of astronauts have been to the Moon. (and have returned) *The space probe Voyager has gone past the plante Neptune(it has not returned)
For and since *We use "for" with a lenght of time: She has worked here for ten years. *We use"since with a point of time to describe when the period of time began: The have lived since 2001.
