Russian Revolution During the Russian Revolution, many industrial events occured. New factories, machines, and war iteams were invented. This is a parallel to the windmill event in Animal Farm, because it shows the industry growing. Also, people lived in very bad conditions during the Revolution, but they worked in industries for so much time, they sometimes forgot how bad the conditions they used to live i were. In Animal Farm, they worked hard on the windmill, so they forget how bad their own lives were. That is how the Russian Revolution corresponds to the windmill event in Animal Farm.
Animal Farm In Animal Farm, there is an event that occurs about building a windmill. Napoleon and Snowball, Lenin and Trotsky, have very different opinions. Napoleon believes that building the windmill is a bad idea. 'And if they wasted time on the windmill they would all starve to death,' pg. 50. Snowball on the other hand thinks the windmill is a great idea and, 'So much labour would be saved that the animals would only need to work three days a week,' pg. 50. In the end though, when Snowball is off the farm, Napoleon decides to build the windmill. Later, ean event occurs with the windmill again, leading the animals to question others.

ANOTHER RELATION Propaganda was used to convince citizens everything was for the greater good, like what Squealer did to the animals.
Animal Farm vs. Russian Revolution
This is a windmill the animals were working on in 'Animal Farm' although it was taken down twice.
Jospeh Stalin. He was the man behind the revolution. He used idealologies of Karl Marx that were soon not related to what Stalin was trying to do. The Animal Farm parallel was Napoleon, the pig.
