i knew they were going to kill us. And i was glad . we wouldnt have to go through this life anymore ,the pain , the hiding , the fear. oh god the fear . it ate at your soul ,until it consumed you,until you no longer wanted to leave your house . i was glad to be here in front of the men holding the guns , with their rough voices ,and their uniforms .i knew they were going to end it for us ,for me ,end the fear ,and i wanted to thanks them ,thanks them for taking away the fear they had put into us.
