The Duck Tape Man Is. . .
William recently visited a library in my town and gave a workshop on duck tape. yes, ducK tape, not ducT tape. thats important. :) i thought it was gonna be some boring old guy who had more interest in duck tape than anything, and that this workshop was just something to do. i was SO wrong. it turned out to be 19 year old William Beacom, and he made it so interesting to be there. so if you are interested in taking one of his workshops, email him or check out his website at www.williambeacom.com.
My name is William Beacom. I'm a Sophomore at Northern Michigan University and a graduate of Midland High School in Midland, Michigan. I'm a duck tape professional. I was inspired by the Red Green show eight years ago to make my first duck tape wallet, starting my duck tape hobby. That hobby is now a profession. I lead workshops showing kids how to create things out of duck tape. I've even shown David Letterman how to make a duck tape wallet on "The Late Show with David Letterman."
