I can;t take live like this anymore. Most people in socity are too boring to live with. i much rather live in the wilderness. My own brothers live is too boring for me now . I am read to go on a new path. I am ready to go into the wild.

As chapter nine starts with a letter from Everett Ruess to his brother. He talks about how his brothers life is to boring for his taste. The chapter tells of Ruess life. Chapter Ten McCandless's story reaches the New York Times.. Many people stared calling in saying that they had givin a ride to the died hiker. Alll giving false leads to McCandless's origains.
