how trains made a difference to Britain
Trains changed Britain because they attracted more tourists. Blackpool has got it's name as a resort because of trains that have escorted oeople all around Britain
By 1850 twenty years after the first line was built there were 7'000 miles of track going through to London. Everyone loved trains as they were cheaper faster and they carried alot more people but they wern't as cheap as canals but people didn't mind.
Trains changed the food industry as farmers would be able to get fresh veg to big citys and towns would be able to transport fresh fish to other parts of the country. This helped with money as people sold there food.
Trains also changed the time in Britain as there use to be diffrent times in diffrent places and they use to speak diffrently and trains changed the time and made people speak near enough the same
