The Maids is a company that cleans houses. They advertise mostly about their healthy cleaning system. Their companies are all over the United States. Their webpage is www.themaids.com
In the book Nickel and DImed, Barbara Ehrenreich sets out on a journey to find out how people can get by in the lower working class. She goes about doing this by interjecting herself into their workplace. Along the way she works in a diner and at a wal mart, but today I am going to focus on where she worked in Maine. While in Maine she worked for a cleaning company called The Maids. They advertise that they are expert cleaners and they can get rid of all your dust and germs. In my Glog I will give you examples straight from the maids website and compare them to what Barbara wrote. So HERE WE GO!!!
