My body was filled with fear dead bodies were all around me. I walked through the herd of dead bodies to see if I reconized any of them. I did, they were my family I saw my baby sister dead, holding her favorite doll still. Tears were filling my cold, deadless eye's then I felt a trigger up against my head. It pulled, and I went to the ground. I whispered, "what did I do to deserve this?". And my eyes shut. My body felt cold and stiff I couldn't feel anything, not even my heart beating. I saw a shadow rise above me. I said softly, "am I dead?" The shadow spoke, it was a man's voice. "Sadly enough, yes you are." I couldn't get up at all. "Are you ready to cross?" "What do you mean?" I asked confused. "You are Alice Lapete, right?" I nodded. "Then it's time for you to die." "But I already did, I was shot in the head." "Yes you were, but it's time for you to get out of this world, you see your still around your dead family." I got up and saw, he was right I was still surrounded by my family. "Why are they dead?" I said angrily. "Some person killed them, and you. So do we have to discuss this you're already dead so just cross over and di-" "No, I did nothing to deserve this, neither did my family so why do I have to die?!" I screamed. "The man looked at me. I could see wings, angel wings. He was just doing his job trying to help me cross over and I did that. "Aren't I suppose to cross over already?" "Yes but a piece of your soul is still connected to the world, so you're not entirely dead." "I can feel it, the piece of my soul, it's my.....heart." "That would be it, you have to retrieve it to die so get it." "No, not yet, not until I find the person who killed me and my family.
