It is said that the game was developed by British soldiers in India around the mid-19th century. Then brought back to Britain by retired officers.
This game was initial called battledore and shuttlecock. Origianally a wool ball was used then they adopted the shuttle cock
Both the forehand and backhand have different shots.
There is a smash, short drop shot, clear shot are differnet sucessful shots that can go along with your strategy.
Doubles:There is the front-back strategy and the side to side. Both of these tactics are used in defense.
Singles: You want to use a series of sifferent shots such as the clear shot and then return with a short or drop and net shot.
This game has many faults such as hitting over the side line, fails to return the shuttlecock. Some serving shots such as failure to hit diagnol in doubles and inability to get past first horizontal line.
