There are times in life When I just don't know If I'll ever reach the light Is it all for show When we make it to the top How much time before we fall 5, 6, 7, 8 Cuz that is the way That life always works We get to the top The come crashing down We starting tasting the good life And living up high Then all of a sudden We're kissing our prides And wondering why...
Getting up is easy But staying up hard Once you reach the top You fight with you've got When the world turns its back And your life starts to crack Your friend will be there All the tears we will share I'll be here for you Ya know that is true You can count on me My help will be free I'll be your safety net That's a fact you can bet And I won't let you down When you're broken on the ground Cuz we know.....
