My Response: I chose Martin Luther King Jr. because of the inspiration he brought to so many African-Americans. Because of the protests about segregation (some of which he lead), the Supreme Court of the U.S. declared the laws requiring segregation on buses unconstitutional--The Civil Rights Act.

My Response (cont.): I placed this video on my poster because it also is inspirational to me. The people shown on the video not only helped make the world, or their country, a better place but they also gave hope to many.
