Polarized Glasses
Polarized sunglasses have been popular for boaters and fisherman for many years in the past and will be for many years to come. (Member) Polarized glasses are starting to become more popular for golfers, bikers, and other athletes as well because it reduces glare and enhances vision. They also help drivers because of the reduced glare, which means fewer accidents. The thing that is good about polarized glasses is that they reduce reflected light. This may be light from the water and even the road. Polarized lenses are not recommended for down hill skiers because they want to be able to see the light reflecting off of ice patches to avoid them. It is also hard to see screens on phones and navigation devices with polarized glasses because the devices project light to your eyes in order to see the screen. (Morgan)
