MacArthur FIRED?!
MacArthur took it upon himself to decide that it was necessary to start making decisions without contacting Truman beforehand. Truman felt that MacArthur was messing with the U.S. policy when he has no right to. Being so, Truman made the decision to fire MacArthur and dismiss him from his duties.
