Kaleb Schwade was a normal, healthy 6 month old baby boy. Untill May 9, 2007...the day that forever changed his life, anf the lives of those around him. You see, Kaleb isn't any regular little man, he's many people's miracle and hero. He is a victim and a survior of of the #1 forms of child abuse - Shaken Baby Syndrome. On the day of May 9, 2007 Kaleb's day care provider shook him with so much force and for long, that he will NEVER beable to have the life that many children dream of and should have. He had serious life treatening injuries resulting the incident. The doctors didn't expect him to live. The had told his family that if there was any chace of him making it, that he would be in a vegative state for the rest of his life. But little did they all know, that little Kaleb is a fighter. He fought and kept fighting, and finally started to pull through. Slowly but surely did Kaleb prove the doctors wrong. He started opening his eyes and moving his arms and legs. They had thought that he was completely blind, but soon began to focus his right eye and with many doctors appointments they soon found that he can see!! They had thought he was deaf....but he can hear!!! Today Kaleb is over a year old and everybody is so amazed at how far this little miracle has come. He keeps amazing us with every step he takes. Keep fighting Kaleb, we're all with you!!!
