Vietnam Vietnam is a country with the shape of a letter 's'. Vietnam's neighbours are Laos,China and Cambodia. Its capital city is 'Ha Noi' and 'Ho Chi Minh' or in other words 'Sai Gon.'.Vietnam has the population of 857,896,000 people and the land is 331,211.6 square Km.. The traditional dress is the long dress(ao dai); this traditional dress is worn at weddings and is also the uniform for females during high school. The Lotus is relavenat to Viet nam because it grows in any pond or lake in Vietnam and if you were able to cut off the center of this pink flower there would be seeds to eat and drink. the lotus is an elegant flower so vietnamese people paint or draw a picture of the lotus on temple walls. There are a lot of rice farms where people grow rice plants to eat,share and to get a living out of. The rice is made into rice paper or is left raw to cook and to send overseas.
