Lumphy, stingray, plastic and the one eared sheep all live in a world that is very different. They are alive, and all talk to each other. In this book they lead you into all sorts of adventures, in the backback where they are all smushed, and convinced that they are gonna be thrown away, to lumphy the toy buffalo being scared of the washer. Although, he overcomes his fears, he still does not like to get dirty. Stingray, is the most favorite toy to her owner. She sleeps on the bed instead of on the floor with the other toys. Plastic, is a toy ball, she has no eyes or ears yet seems to talk and carry on conversations. Other characters in this book besides the toys are Frank, he is the Washing machine that Lumphy is so desperatley afraid of. Frank however, turns out to be great, he is an awesome singer and Lumphy decides to like him. There is also Tuk~Tuk she is a towel who knows everything, and when there is a problem, all of the animals resort to her. This story is one for the child in everyone, fun, yet so enjoyable. I really enjoyed reading this book, it is truley halarious.
