The tears began to hurt too much My heart would jolt with one soft touch A girl can cry a bird can sing a cage induced the same damn thing A feather falls a heart, it breaks Must let go it's too much to take I cannot say when she shall learn The world makes topsy turvy turns It will, only if you allow will chew you up and spit you out A crazy thing I learned to be A girl who says i can handle me My soul it floats my tears will fly When left on the wings of my butterfly
