The Channel Tunnel also known as the ''Chunnel''
The Channel Tunnel, aka the Chunnel, is a three tunnel channel running in the English channel in England, Calais in France, and Folkestone.
The "Chunnel" is 31 miles long. Two of the rail tunnels are each 25 feet in diameter, and one which is 16 feet. Thankfully it is cleaned and venelated.
In 1986 the project for the tunnel started. In 1994 the passenger service began. Because of the little people going on, but so much money was put into the "Chunnel", a court of France was brought into this. They were told to protect this channel until the company can reorganize and get out of debt.
Today many people ride The Channel Tunnel. Some use it on a daily basis. Most would love to see it. All should know about it.
