Winter Manhattan
Seth - Assassinated Addict Living like a bum in the city, he has no job, no girlfriend, and no life. Ten smokes a day, stay inside, open the windows to let the stench of weed escape the apartment. Don't take a shower. That's his motto of life. Seth sits all day, having no life, no real friends, no job to go to and hates the world for being the way it is. The truth is, though, the only thing he wants is to be just like everyone else, and whether he realizes it or not, he does have people to go to. The people that have been taking care of him all this time. The people that never judged him. His friends. Discovering his life is leading nowhere, he is left completely confused. How's he going to get a job? How's he going to achieve what he always wanted? How's he going to begin ''living'' instead of just ''being alive''?
Kyle - Mundane Scientist Oh, is Kyle a special guy. He's had the perfect academic life and career - he's always earned straight A's in school and graduated as the Valedictorian, becoming a CSI Lab Tech as a career and earning promotion after promotion after promotion. He's an extremely hard worker, and deserves everything he's earned, but there's one problem. People. He's never had any real good friends. Never had a girlfriend. Never kisssed a girl, even, and obviously still a virgin. He sits all day at work, working much longer than his shift requires, skin pasty white and eyes tired as hell so he could get the money on the table... but on WHAT table? He has no one to go to when he comes back to his New York City apartment. The only one he really talks to at all is his partner Alicia and that asshole friend of his , Ryan. But what if all that could change? What if someone... someone could come and change him into someone who knows what it's like to have a social life? What if someone... could complete the rest of him and fill the emptiness he never knew he had? Well, if that could happen... it certainly won't be easy to accomplish. Before anything like that can happen, he'll have to jump over facing strangers, dealing with a psychotic co-worker and getting hurt...badly.
Pierce- Shooter for the Stars Pierce grew up as a good guy. He never got in trouble at school, got amazing grades, and never touched a cigarette, alcohol, and only had sex with those he loved completely. He's given so much to the world and the only thing he wants back is to be famous - to be the greatest actor he can be - and so far it seems that he has his life on track. Steady job, his best friend Ryan, and loving girlfriend. Or so he thought. Truth is, the only thing she wants from him is the ability to say ''You see that guy on TV? Well, I slept with him!'' And what's with his high school rival appearing on his show and getting in his way all the time, risking him some big-time opportunities to advance his career? What's it going to mean if it all falls apart? What's it going to mean if things collapse for him and his perfect, pristine life which he worked so hard to earn... becomes stained with the wrongs of others? What will he turn to? Well, this half-irish man had a family that wasn't too known for fighting stereotypes...
Tam - Worthless Angel Tam grew up a prodigy at everything possible - music, wrtiing, drawing, math, ennglish, science, anything you could think of - she was good at. This was a result of her parents' constant pressuring for her to be good at everything so she could get a good job and lead a good life. But the pressure - it was just too much. It became overboard. And so innocent old Tam malfunctioned. She gave up. She decided that all this work - all of this pain and agony and living every day of her life in suffocation wasn't worth it. She quit. She stopped doing her work. She stopped getting good grades at school. Her social life went down the drain and she became a lifeless robot, paling to a rice paper white and her hair on the frizz 100% of the time. But when she grew up and realized that her life was looking like it sucked more and more working at the same old cafe for the past five years, she began to thirst change. She began to crave a new life for herself... and so she found Darren, a daredevil of all sorts. But maybe he's just a bit too... dangerous. Maybe he's too extreme.... That's what everyone thought and that's what everyone tried to tell her. But she didn't listen. She didn't want to lsiten. Things finally seemed to be working out for her - she was beginning to get friends, get invited to parties, become beautiful - she didn't listen to a word anyone said... until it was too late.
Ryan - Beastly Flirt Ryan. What a gifted man he is. With his short, brown hair, well-kept tan, tall and muscled exterior, a perfect smile and a set of piercing blue eyes, he wins the passionate hearts of all the ladies he encounters. Though, of course, the only thing his heart is passionate for is getting into a pair of skinny jeans. His only goal being sex, handsome yet conceited Ryan doesn't care for love and only cares about getting his rocks off. That's how he's lived his entire life. No one's ever told him otherwise, and with those amazing good looks of his, how can any woman deny him? Well, one certainly can, and once Ryan meets her, something begins to click within him. Something he's never felt before. Could this one woman possibly change Ryan's entire way of thinking? Will Ryan stop being the awful yet skilled sex beast he is and change into...something better? Something more... human?
Chad - Glory Fighter All Chad ever wanted was to be acknowledged by the people around him as someone great - someone special. After all, he grew up without being that person his entire life. He's always gotten mediocre grades, never had any interests, or talents, and couldn't even graduate high school. But then he found the boxing club his Dad was in. He practiced, and practiced, and practiced, hoping one day that he would get the crown and the recognition of being someone great, someone amazing, something he's never been. But it's not going to be that easy. Things get in the way and complicate things - people he'd never expect to attack him vandalize his feelings and mental health. People like his father. Will he still get the champion title? Or will he never be seen as someone to look up to, someone...important?
