TITANIC
http://www.historyonthenet.com/Titanic/titanicmain.htm
The people that was left in the water after the sinking of Titanic didn't die mostly from drowning but from hypothermia due to the frigid climate.
The technology used to reach the Titanic site was a submersible called the Nautile.
The sinking of the titanic are blamed on the three million rivets that popped when the titanic crashed into the iceberg.
It's also blamed on the poor riveters that were putting the rivets on the ship..
Another reason why the titanic could have sunk is because the ships steele was very brittle in the temperature of the icy waters of the Atlantic
The Titanic was the biggest ship of its time which is also taller than the Empire State Building.
Bouyancy and Gravity are two forces that brought down this ship. They werent at equilibrium.
Even though the captain said women in children were to be on the lifeboats, according to the charts based on study of the people who were supposed to be aboard the ship, mostly first class passengers were the survivors not women and children.
There wasnt enough lieboats to save everyone a little less than half of the passengers if filled to its capacity would have survived.
There was only 20 lifeboats on the titanic.
