Uses for Titanium It can be used for joint replacement, tooth implants and body piercing. Due to its high corrosion resistance, high specific strenght and high heat resistance, titanium is often used in the making of spacecrafts parts; such as the wings and the outer fuel tank shealting.
Titanium Was Discovered in England by William Gregor (photo above) and named by Martin Heinrich Klaproth (photo to the right).
