This is Negro Spirital song `He's got the whol world in his hand.'
How did it develop. when they worked out in the field they were almost always sad so someone started colplaining which was then turned into a song, which then every one started singing to and that gave them joy. Now it is used in churces as music.

Where did they originate? They first originated in South States. Where they were forced to be slaves. they were only allowed to pray to the christian god and not their own.
Pentatonic Scale. is a scale of five different notes played at the same time.
The negro Spiritals originated in 1852 in after europeanen went and took the africans for slaves.
They developed the music by singing out load so everybody could hear it and then the christian people thought that this kind of music suited for the church so now some african americans sing vollentearly in churches
The main type of music they used is the famus call and respoonse. They also use a little slang i have notest is some song i have listen to.
