-Listening to a “sage on the stage”
-Receiving and regurgitating information.
This is NOT Active!
Processing occurs when students interact with the information or ideas
and with others.
Students might facilitate a discussion or do a graphic organizer on webspiration with friends.
In active learning, input occurs when students gather information and/or ideas from a multitude of sources using various senses.
Students might watch a movie, listen to a podcast, or do an interview.
