Primary bone cancer (the kind with malignant tumors) is rare and only makes up 1% of all cancers.
Medical doctors have bot been able to pinpoint any direct cause for bone cancer, but believe that some bone cancers are caused by radiation. Others may have inherited causes (they might be hereditory).
Some bone cancers may be connected to other kinds of cancer, or the medcation taken to treat those cancers.
Chemotharapy , radiation tharapy, and a method known as cyrosurgery (where liquid nitrogen is used to freeze and kill cancer cells) are all methods used to treat bone cancer,
Blah blah blah, filler text, pseudo-scientific notes, etc., etc. Um... I like kittens? Really, really like kittens, not for eating of course (what does cat taste like?), but for cuteness cuddlings.
Osteosarcoma normally developes during the rapid growth spurt that occurs in adolescence.
Benign bone tumors are actually more commen than malignant ones, though they both may cause pain and discomfort in the patient.
Treatments for bone cancer include, but are not limited to, various kinds of surgery. Depending on the size and locaion of the tumor. From amputations to simple cut and remove operaions.
Chondrosarcoma occurs mostly in people over forty and the risk for it increases with age. ESFTs occur mostly in adolescents under 19, and mosty in caucasions. As for symtoms, pain is the most common one, but not all bone cancers cause pain. Some are not large enough to cause any discomfort. Large tumors can sometimes cut off blood flow to areas near it, causing problems and discomfort.
