A perminent resedent is somone who has demonstrated physical resedence. They can read write speak and understand in english. took the oath of allegiance to the United States. Demonstrate a knowledge of U.S. civics (history and government).

To be able to fill out a application you have to be 18 years or older at the time. You have to have been lawfully submitted to the united states. You have to have been living here for five years or three year it you are married to a leagal resident. You have shown attachment to the U.S constitution.
