Growing food is an easy way to make a difference in your neighborhood because it is easy to access. Creating a garden doesn't even need to be created in in a yard, our school for example uses a cart to plants in, and given that so few communities have accessable gardens, the pros far outweigh the cons when it comes to the desicion of growing a garden.
Going green can be as easy as fixing a faucet, if one faucet releases ten drips of water per minute, that faucet wastes over three liters worth of water. That much water is the same amount that a grown man needs to hydrate himself and yet that much is accidentally wasted daily by a leaky faucet.
Y Forgetting to turn off lights is a habit that almost everyone falls victim to. Let's face it, of all energy wasting habits we have, leaving on lights is the most frequent habit we have. Along with that, one habit we are less aware of but is almost as bad, the time we leave chargers in without charging anything is energy wasted. This is because chargers use energy even when we're not charging anything.
