7th grade A and B team volleyball Last Monday the Jobe Maverick’s volleyball teams had a game. They played against Coble; the first team that played was at 5:30 which was B team they lost 18 to 25. Then they played another round and lost 24 to 25. It was a close call but they just couldn’t pull it together. At least they went home positive and they say this week is their game and are going to play much harder this week. The A team game was 10 minutes after the B team game had ended and their first game started with a ruff start the score they ended at was 25 to 26, they tied. Then they played for another win and got 24 to 25 they won their game and it became official they won. They were very grateful and excited that they can’t wait to play Worley tigers next week. This week they are hoping to win both games against Worley tigers. Both teams are staying positive and teaching each other to be positive. They have been working real hard. They both have become really good team mates and are like sisters now. Like we say (learners today leaders tomorrow). Finishing this article I will end with a BIG GOOO MAVERICKS!!!!!
