-Autotrophs- autotrophs use enerfy from the environment to fuel the assembly of simple inorganic compounds. -photosynthesis- process by whic plantsand some other organisms use light energy to power chemical reactions. -Chemosynthesis- the process is performed by several types of bacteria.
