Geronimo was a Native Indian Cheif of the Chiricahua Apache.
Geronimo was born as Goyathlay but after his fearsome attcks on the mexican soliders he was named Jeronimo (after the mexican plea to st. Jerome). Geronimo was born to a band of apaches near turkey creek where modern day new mexico is. He was never a cheif but after an attack by mexican soliders that ended the life of his wife and kids and his mother, Geronimo became the greatest native american war cheif of all time leading his people blindly through battles taking numerous shots and wounds. He was supposedly a shaman for many eye witness accounts speak of his powers; not leaving tracks, taking bullets and shots, and known telekenisis and telepathy. even though he was outnumbered he still made many famous escapes and exploits against mexican and american forces. Since then Geronimo is known as the most fearsome indian cheif in history though he never was a tribe cheif.
