I talk to you today like I always do, The lies between us have always been few. Something today is different though, Makes me wonder if you are my friend or a foe. The aura between us seems depressed, untrue. Is this difference between us from me or from you? The look in your eyes tells me all that I need to know, You are different but how is that so? You hardly reply when I speak, Though secretly I speak for the answers I seek. Is this why you do not speak? You don't want me to get the answers I feel that I need? I want to make sure you are still here. I want to know you are okay because I care. Has a monster taken over your body? Or is your soul broken and saddened? I just want to help. I want to know why you aren't yourself. I just want to be there for you when you are down. But I can't bring myself to ask why your former self drowned. I can just hope that your soul comes back soon. Though I don't dare to say, I want to help you get through the fog. I know not to mention it though. For I heard you when you let out a painful sob.
