How is it that we trust people? It can't be that simple? We hear on the news day and night, About people who were trusted then caused a terrible fight. About the people whose lives were torn away, By the people they trusted with their lives everyday. Why is trust easy to gain in the first place? When the last person you trusted is no longer here, they didn't leave a trace. Why is it so easy to lose? When you accidently make a mistake then your best friend doesn't even trust you. Why is so hard to have to gain back? I definitly know the answer to that. They broke your heart and it can never be repaired. To one or both of the people it just isn't fair. When they decided to talk behind your back, And caused the tears to run until your eyes were nearly black. They fought with you when they knew you needed help. Then there was even more pain that you felt. Or even when they try to help and don't know how, They go to someone else and aren't there for you now. Can trust even be gained back? Yes it can, I know that for a fact. Friends from long ago are still here with you now. Surely they lost your trust and then again it was found? But it is who you trust that you must watch out for. Because they may turn their back on you and slam the door. Know your friends and enemies too, Know the difference between the two. One you can trust, The other will turn away. But trust can be gained back. That is all that I have to say.
