She used to be one of the most beautiful angels in heaven, Until she fell in love with a mortal man.. She protected him and kept him safe from harm, Everyone told him he had a guardian angel. She stayed by him every moment of the day, Only leaving if it was necessary. He never knew she existed, But she wanted that to change. One day she followed him home from work, She said out loud what she had wished. She blinked and her location changed, She was suddenly in the hiuse of God. A deep voice spoke to her, He told her that she should not show herself, for one day he would hurt her. She didn't beleive him, but she obeyed. She continued on protecting him, Until one day she accidently revealed herself to him. He smiled at her, and flirted too. She thought he loved her. She again appeared in the house of god, And the deep voice spoke again. ''You have shown yourself to mortal man, you too are now mortal'', And with that last word her wings dissapeared, and she felt her heart beat once again. She remained with the man, Living happily with him, They soon had two children. And were happily married

But as the years went by he got more agressive. He began going to bars, and coming home drunk. Every night if she was still asleep he would beat her. She never complained though. She had two children that she had to keep safe, and she had been warned many years ago. She cried and wondered why she hadn't listened. She prayed from that noght on that God. might forgive her. In return he came to her in a dream, ''I have warned you'' the voice said gently. But I am merciful, And will take you and your children back into my kingdom She smiled and appeared in the house of God, With both of her children next to her. Her children were so beautiful, and had white wings, But she had blood on her neck and she was crying blood., And had wings as Black as night. Her children were sad, but bowed as the voice began to talk. ''I have taken you into my kingdom'' the voice said. ''But from now on you are the angel from tragedy, You will be with every person you experiances, pain and sorrow'' He said. ''You will be the guardian of those who need love. You will protect those who need it, and you will never be mortal again.'' the voice said. She bowed, accepting the job. She would rather do that than be with that man ever again Vampress (Copyright)
