Martin Luther King was a human rights leader. He was an African-American civil rights movement and peace movement. His major leadership roll was southern christian leadership.
1. Martin Luther King Jr, (January 15, 1929 - April 4, 1968) was born Michael Luther King Jr but later had his name changed to Martin 2. Martin Luther King had a role model - Indian leader Mahatma Ghandi. 3. Martin Luther King recieved the Novel Peace Prize at the age of 35 for leading a non-violent civil right demonstrations in 1964. 4. Martin Luther King went to college at age 15. 5. August 28, 1963, at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. Martin Luther King gave his speech, 'I Have Dream' to over 250,000 people.
