Niels Bohr
Niels Bohr was born in Copenhagen. He was a physicist who discovered that atoms contain a nucleus in the center that is surrounded with electron shells, which are made up of the electrons that goes around the nucleus at different levels. He did this by studying the structure.
Ernest Rutherford
J.J Thomson
Ernest Rutherford is a well known physicist from England. He was the first to discovered the nucleus of the atom and the proton. It was weird the way the thought of the nucleus came up. He was observing the effects of shooting a narrow beam of small alpha particles at a thin gold foil. Once he did that he noticed that when the alpha particles hit the thin metal, some of them spreaded instead of continuing straight through.
J.J Thomson is a Nobel Prize winner physicist from England. During the time of his life, he has won over 17 medals. J.J Thomson discovered the electron. The way he discovered this was by studying the discharge in a high-vacuum cathode-ray tube, also known as the Cathode Ray Experiment.
