The Fourth of July in the United States. A time of celebration and parties. The reason that we celebrate is becuase on July 4, 1776 we declared our independents. This is a like in France. They call their independents day Bastille Day. The reason is beause they tore down a prison called the Bastille on July 14, 1789. This is also when the declared their independents from the King of Frace. Some of the diffenteces of Bastille Day in Frace and The Fourth of July in the United States are that they celebrate the night before on July 13. They would hang balls and ribben all through the town. Then they would go and see parades. In the United States we only have one day of celebration for independents day. We celebrate it on July 4. They also have fireworks and parties all night on July 13 and all day on July 14. We also have fireworks and parties here in the United States on July 4. Another cool fact of Bastille Day and The Fourth of July is that they are both in July. Plus they should celebrate their Independents day just like we do. They just celebrate in some of the same ways and some are diffent ways. Either way they celebrate their independents day.
