In his highschool years he played baseball as a pitcher for Alpine highschool and played a guitar in the band. He meet his wife when they were in highschool and decided that he had to marry her. so they were married at 18 and moved in with his father and helped run the grocery store. Where they later had a little girl and named her mary. He was in WWII were he served in Japan as a radio tech from 1943-1945. He had odd jobs as a farmer and finally got on as a county commision, serving warrents for 30 years. Pa was a family loveing man with a very straight forward personality.
