"Digital Storytelling is the practice of using computer-based tools to tell stories"
It is not unlike traditional storytelling in so far as it centers around a topic with a specific point of view. The difference is that it is told through a digital medium which can contain digital images, voice recordings, music and visual text. They are usually short and concise and range from personal stories to historical events.
