Benjamin Franklin gets France
Ben Franklin was in his 70's when he made his journey to europe to convince France to aid the Colonies in the Revolution. He learned the language and etiquette of France which made them adore him. They also enjoyed his science, philosophical, and political writings. After his bond with the French people, he was able to convince them in the aid of the colonies for their fight for freedom.
Boston is where ben spent the first seventeen years of his life and gained a strong influence on his future career and the influences of his life.
Philidelphia is where ben called home for most of his life.

By the age of 23 he already owned his own printing shop and published a newspaper.
Franklin organized the Junto in 1727, for business promotions and friendship
In 1772, beforeFranklin moved to France, he was elected into the French Academy of Sciences. He received honors in the academies of sciences and arts at Orleans and Lyons as well.
Benjamin Franklin also attended the Montgolfier brothers’ famous first balloon flight in 1783.
In the year 1783, Franklin signed the Treaty of Paris, and ended the war with England.
In 1778, Benjamin Franklin negotiated and signed a Treaty for the France and the Colonies to become an alliance.
Following Franklin’s death in 1790, the French National Assembly officially declared a national month of mourning to show respect for the one they called "the genius who Freed America and shed torrents of light upon Europe."
Franklin finally decided to leave France in 1785 to return home to Philadelphia.
