Floating in the back of our minds Are the smallest wishes and dreams Fueled by the hope that resides in our hearts They grow and shrink in a never ending cycle Through Love and loss the hope remains strong It holds us up and pushes us to keep going Without hope our wishes and dreams become nothing We begin to sink as we watch our hope float away And fall into the darkness at the back of our minds That used to be filled with dreams and wishes Hope floats and we rise and fall with its tide

My friend died a year ago today and I would like to dedicate this glog to him. Rest in peace Derrick. We will never forget you.
