if you only knew the things i do for you to try to give you happiness when i have none to put a smile on your face when there is pain in mine to bring light in your life when my is consumed in darkness i would lift you high when others try to bring you down i would do this and much more because i call you my friend. . . and even if you, yes my dear friend, you cut me with your words that leave scars i will still do these things and much more for i am your friend and i will not hold it against you nothing will change that now and forever your friend 'til the end. . .
