My laugh echos through the room I may seem warm and bright But what you don't know is I cried myself to sleep last night My smile is a mockery Of how I feel inside I said "I'm ok." But don't you know I lied? My eyes might be sparkling But that is acting to Soon the crying will come back And all these tears are for you Are you blind? How could you not see? You say I'm this. You say I'm that. Do you even know me? I'm sick of people telling me Who I am, And what I'm not You may belive my little stunt But that's just covering it up So who am I? Wouldn't you like to know One of these days Will be the end of my show What will you think Of this girl you never knew? She is very alone Now thats our first clue The second clue is easy Every night she sulks in bed And thinks "What if?"
