The Mecklenburg Resolve was a statement developed in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, made by the Mecklenburg Commitee of Saftey. The resolves proclaimed that all royal authority in America, all laws and originating from Parliament remained null and void. The resolves were relayed to the North Carolina delegation at the Continental Congress, but weren't presented to them as a whole. The Declaration of Independence was signed over a year later.
The Battle of Alamance was the so called end of the War of Regulation. Historians may believe that this was the opening of the American Revolution, but it was actually a battle against local government not the British officials. The battle took place at modern day Burlington . The battle started due to the Regulators rejection to William Tyron's command to disperse peacefully.

Hiya! My name is Edmund Fanning. I was an American Loyalist 1739-1818. I also supported the royal governor William Tyron. I was most famous for being the special object of contempt for the rebels of the Regulator movement. I went to New York as Tyron's protege where he held officers. In 1775, I raised a Loyalist regiment that fought in partisan actions in the New York area throughout the war.

I, Samuel Adams, was a revolutionary politician, signer of the Declaration of Independence, and was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. I was responsible for garning support of the colonists for the rebellion against the British, by leading town meetings in which I drafted protests against Parliament's tax measures such as The Stamp Act.
