When most people look at me they think I'm weird, they judge me for who I am. They look at me and see my cross necklace. Some people automatically hate me although others seem to like me more.
In 5th grade I decided to accept Jesus into my heart. I never really knew what that meant, I was just into taking communion like everyone else was at church. Just this past summer I went to church camp with people I've known since I was 1 and 5 years old. At church camp this summer I really felt God speaking to me in extraordinary ways. Through the music, sermons, and late night talks with my best friend and small group leader. I felt like I knew God before but after that week at camp, I felt as if my life wasn't even close to what God wants it to be. God was on my mind that week more than everything else combined. I didn't want to leave. God had shown me my true destiny in life. God taught me what true strength is. Last year, I got into a huge arguement with my parents and I felt like if something else went wrong, I wouldn't have a purpose. Killing myself was never an option, but I felt as if I was trapped and the onlt way out was death. I would never kill myself, but God spoke to me through K-LOVE radio and I cried myself to sleep that night. Going to camp showed me that life isn't always easy but it was worth it. At the end of camp on August 6th. I decided to rededicate myself to Jesus Christ and God has changed my life in amazing ways. There are days where I wish God was physically here with me because I feel too much sadness and I need someone to let me know they care. GOD LOVES YOU. He puts storms in your life so you can turn to HIM. <3
