You Keep Me Grounded You’re my set stone. The sound that keeps me rounded And my safety after a storm Your voice keeps me with sanity Your laugh a sure cause, Of the reason I’m standing And the way I’m above. Your hugs are my Advil, Your words soothe my thoughts Into knights in shining armor And rain after the drought. As I’m watching the meteorites, Your face flutters in my mind I think of all the other times I’ve wished upon a sign Once again I wake To the gift of knowledge That I have you here Your more beautiful than Foliage.
