Problems & Solutions
One of many problems happing in Southwest Asia is the Sunni and Shiite (Shia) division. This division can lead to war and fighting and the consquences of war can lead the country into civil war and anarchy. Instead of having a war, they shoud take their problems to court to have it settled because court is a better alternative than violence. In court, it can be peaceful and safe which will be better for all citizens.

Oil is another major problem happening in countries all over the world. A few possible solutions to the oil problem would be to raise oil prices, place an embargo on oil, or OPEC cutting back on oil productions. The consequences to raising oil prices could lead to a restriction on oil to the U.S. Also, placing an embargo on oil shipments could raise the price of oil. I recommend that we should cut back on oil productions because we can save money and have a better world and environment.

Another, and most recent problem going on in Gaza is a sewage leak. This leak is can be harmful to the citizens because of their health. The sewage system holds many bacteria and wastes that can affect many people living in the area. If the gov. doesn't fix this soon, it is possible that many people in the area will become ill.
For many years, the Aral Sea has shrunken due to irrigation. The Amu-Darya and the Syr-Darya Rivers that flow into the Aral Sea help irrigate the land for cotton and rice but as the sea has declined, the crops cannot produce food as easily.
